Don't miss out on a unique opportunity to visit Gloucester's two museums – at night!
With tickets selling well for these rare events museum staff are issuing a reminder that there is not long to go.
On Friday May 17th there will be the chance to take part in a major social experiment at The Folk Museum. Details are a closely guarded secret but participants will help create a glimpse at our social history for future generations. Everyone attending will have the opportunity to take part,
Then on Saturday May 18th the City Museum will step back in time and be transformed to its former use as a Victorian College of Science.
It will be a 'hands on' experience with visitors getting involved in a range of experiments and brewing a variety of potions around the building.
And for one-night only the museum's Café Nerva menu will contain a range of interesting 'science themed delights.'
Both events start at 7pm and finish at 10pm. Tickets are on sale from Gloucester Guildhall (01452) 503050 and online at www.gloucestermuseums.co.uk– and include a goody bag for each visitor.
Prices are : Adults £8, Concessions ( children 5-17 and over 60s) - £5, Under 5s – Free.
Family Ticket (up to two adults and three children) - £22.
