Robbers stole fishing equipment off a man at Cotswold Water Park this morning.
Three men intimidated the man into giving up the gear before they made off in a Nissan van towards Wiltshire.
Gloucestershire Police confirmed the victim from Chippenham, whose age is unknown, was not hurt during the robbery.
Officers are looking for information about the robbery, which took place at 5.30am on Sunday.
Information can be reported to police on 101 quoting reference 104 of Sunday, May 2.
