BLACK Norfolk turkey, aged 10 months, good sense of humour, seeks female.
George II arrived at the City Farm in Tredworth two weeks ago.
And now, in the middle of the mating season, he finds himself all alone.
Farm manager Karen Bicknell said: "He is a very friendly boy, but he is so lonely. He has been showing off a lot lately, displaying his feathers to everyone, but we really need a female for him so if anyone can help that would be great!"
The farm decided they wanted a turkey a fortnight ago but sadly George I was eaten by a fox.
They have even looked online in the hope of finding George II a date.
HOW AN INTERNET DATING PROFILE MIGHT READ FOR GEORGE GEORGE II WLTM younger chick 4 'meats' and maybe more. NSA fun, no gobbledigook, and no ruffled feathers – smooth plumage a must. Looking for someone to share interests such as bird watching and rural walks. Love eating out, but don't ex-peck-t me to pick up the bill and I don't like getting too stuffed. GSOH and would be 'trilled' to meet another turkey who likes a joke. Ten months old and looking to meet similar age. Can travel. Not a good flier but love going somewhere hot for Christmas. Call 01452 305 728 if interested.
