HORSERACING legend Willie Carson led the charge as around 150 people took part in a fundraising walk.
The Hike for Home-Start Cotswolds sponsored 10k walk took place through Coln Valley yesterday, with the former jockey at the front.
Around £3,000 was raised for Home-Start Cotswolds, a charity which supports struggling families with young children.
The walk started and finished at Cripps Barn near Bibury, with many walkers donating £10 to Home-Start for lunch at the wedding venue.
Kate Hicks Beach, a trustee for the charity who helped organise the walk, said: "The day was a huge success. The main aim, apart from the fundraising, was to build the community around the families we support and the volunteers."
