YOUNG Catherine Wilson proved she had artistic skills when she won the Grand Village Fete Poster Competition.
Pupils from Brimscombe CofE Primary and Christ Church CofE Primary in Chalford and Thrupp Nursery were asked to design a poster to promote the event, which is on May 18.
The standard was extremely high and the judges had a mammoth task to decide which was the best.
Christ Church pupil Catherine, six, was ruled the winner.
Hope Heward-Mills from Brimscombe was second and Hope Gordon from Thrupp was third. The runners-up were Jess Owens and Elspeth Norris from Christ Church School, Tom Earle from Thrupp and Scarlett Sykes and Aaran Mitchell from Brimscombe.
