What's your favourite Gloucestershire day out?
A trip to Gloucester Cathedral is hard to beat with a visit to the Crypt to hear how they used to store the monk's bones. Why go to London?
And your favourite place to eat out in the county?
The Edgemoor Inn is hard to beat with its excellent food and panoramic views.
What's the worst job you've ever had?
I've been fortunate. I worked for 34 years at Orchard and Ind the Printers in Northgate Street. I was apprenticed as a Photolitho Camera Operator, going on to plan film, make printing plates and then became an overseer as the digital revolution took over.
Have you got any unusual habits?
Having spent a lot of time checking printing plates, I always look for mistakes on posters.
Who is your hero and why?
My favourite book must be 'The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes'.
What was the last film you watched?
'Quartet' with Billy Connolly who I would say is a better as an actor than comedian.
First single/record you ever bought?
'Return to Sender' by Elvis Presley. I had asked the shop assistant for a different record, but as this record became a number one I became quite proud of it.
Facebook or Twitter? (And what is your twitter handle/name?)
On Facebook, Gloucester 17 Plus. I have a Twitter account, but don't really know what to use it for, perhaps someone can tweet me with some suggestions? @17DrivingSchool
