CAMPAIGNERS have claimed Gloucester's drivers are contributing to world hunger.
Charity ActionAid said the city's motorists are unknowingly burning enough food crops, in biofuel form, to feed more than 10,000 people a year.
The newly-calculated data, which incorporates the latest government figures on local fuel usage, marks Food not Fuel week to raise awareness of how biofuels are a major cause of world hunger.
