Peter Sipthorp, Liberal Democrat Peter Sipthorp is standing in Campden Vale and the North Cotswolds. During his youth, Peter lived locally for many years before moving to North London, where he worked as a teacher. Peter moved back to the Cotswolds a number of years ago and now lives in Chipping Campden. He is passionate about making the Cotswolds a fairer place to live. Peter is determined to build on the good results achieved recently in the North Cotswolds. In the 2011 local elections marginally under a third of voters in Campden-Vale voted Liberal Democrat. Speaking to residents across the North Cotswolds Peter is in tune with local issues and residents' concerns. Peter is currently campaigning for:• Open and accessible local government• 20mph speed limits near schools and in residential areas Michael Fitzgerald, Ukip My sole reason for supporting UKIP is that the EU is a disaster. My blinding light was way back in the late 70s/early 80s, having been involved in farming in Australia. I saw the damage done to our royal friends there. Then, having cut off their markets, the Australians found new ones in the East. Then the EU demanded new subsidies on those new markets. We've given up our sovereignty, and small businesses and the self-employed pay the price with added bureaucracy and red tape. And our 'law industry' is doing quite a lot of damage, here with legislation, courtesy of the EU. Glyn Ford, Labour Party: Photograph and profile not submitted
