There are eight divisions due to be contested in the Cotswolds on May 2 when the county goes to the polls.
Here are the candidates standing in the division of Bourton-on-the-Water and Northleach.
Christopher Cooke, Ukip
I am standing as a candidate for the UK Independence Party because like many others, I want a radical change of direction for our country.
I want the beauty of the Cotswolds and our glorious towns and villages to be preserved. The imposition of wind turbines to satisfy EU targets on carbon emissions must be resisted. The development of land for business or new housing should be confined to brownfield sites as far as possible. Local prosperity should be encouraged by keeping local taxes low. Nationally, Britain needs to take charge of its own identity. We are paying some £16 billion to the EU every year. In return the EU pays us back £8 billion a year, to be spent on matters that they decide, regardless of whether it's something we would have chosen to spend the money on ourselves.
By withdrawing from the EU, we would become free to make our own trade agreements, abolish tariffs on imported food and break free from the crippling burdens of the common agricultural policy and business regulation which do so much damage.
