BIKERS from across the country will be gathering at Castle Combe for the national BikeSafe event.
Those with a love of two wheels are being invited to the event on April 20, which organisers say will be a fun day out for all the family.
Some of the country's best riders will be in action including the British Super Bike Team, Bathams Honda, with Tommy Bridewell doing demo laps on his race bike and a marked police R1200 RT.
There will be stunt displays from Steve 'Showtime' Colley and TalanSkeels-Piggins in the arena and demonstrations from the Avon and Somerset Police Dog Unit.
A race bike simulator, trade stands and stalls, the Air Ambulance Helicopter, and a mini-quad track will also be at the event.
BikeSafe is a police led initiative available nationwide.
Roads Policing Officers from Gloucester will be holding assessed road rides throughout the day to help riders improve their skills.
Organiser and police motorcyclist, PC Phil Scull said: "The BikeSafe event is about interacting with a wide biking audience.
"We want to reduce casualties and collisions and promote the importance of further bike training and of keeping sharp as a rider.
"We often see, as the saying goes, people with 'all the gear but no idea'.
"They will spend £800 on leathers but seem reluctant to spend £30 on further training, which could save their own and other people's lives."
