Thame United 1 Cheltenham Saracens 3
With injuries and unavailability following the amount of matches being played, Cheltenham Saracens boss Gerry Oldham had no alternative but to select even more of the clubs young players to travel to the Oxfordshire club who were lying seventh in the table.
The players did not let him down and with a team containing eight players under the age of 20 two youth team players were given their debuts 16-year-olds Matt Sherman and Ashley Hill.
Thame were unable to hold the energetic running of the visitors especially in midfield consisting of Jack Oldham, Jordan Bryan and Joe Donaghue.
Owen Donaghue, 17 from Cheltenham Town's youth team, started for his first match after featuring as substitute previously.
In the warm up the ex-Robins youth player Josh Swales broke down with the injury that has kept him out of the team for the last two matches.
After ten minutes a Saracens corner resulted in Joe Donaghue meeting the ball on the volley giving the Home keeper no chance.
Five minutes later Elliott Kennedy scored the second when he turned quickly in the area and steered it past the keeper.
Thame came out in second half looking to come back into the game and after 50 minutes Ricketts was on hand to convert a cross to give them a possible chance of a result.
A penalty awarded in the 50th minute for the Saracens allowed Jack Oldham to convert and put the result beyond doubt.
Captain Mike Rhodes played well at the back together with Joe Bermingham who was playing only his secnd match for the first team after most of the season the reserves.
