A PORTABLE toilet went up in flames in Hempsted Meadows yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters were called out at 5.51pm to Hempsted Bypass.
One fire engine from Gloucester South Fire Station attended with a crew of five firefighters.
They used a dry powder extinguisher to deal with the fire, which left the toilet severely damaged.
They were detained at the incident for approximately 30 minutes.
