Protesters are taking to the streets of Cheltenham this morning to object to proposed changes to the town's NHS services.
Members of health campaign group 38 Degrees and Cheltenham and Gloucester Against Cuts will be marching through the town centre.
They are campaigning against proposed changes to Cheltenham General Hospital's A&E department, which could be downgraded to a minor injuries unit during the night.
If the plans go ahead it would see just the walking wounded treated in Cheltenham while more serious casualties would have to be transferred to the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
The NHS has vowed it would be reconfiguring staffing across the county to ensure the Gloucester hospital would have enough staff to cope with the changes.
The protesters will march through the town centre, starting at the Lido car park in Sandford Park at 11.30am.
