PEOPLE in Northway are being encouraged to roll up their sleeves and take part in a community day of action.
The event on Saturday, from 11am to 2pm, will see a range of organisations come together with members of the community to clean up the local area and provide a whole host of activities.
It will be based on The Gould Playing Field and volunteers for the community clean-up will meet there at 11am. It is expected to last until 12.30pm.
After that, there will be a range of activities available, including a Zumba display, dog show and body zorbing, a light-hearted activity that uses inflatable balls.
A free barbecue will be offered to volunteers at the event.
