TWO people were treated for the effects of breathing in smoke after a suspected arson attack on a home in Churchdown.
A 42-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man were inside the Parkside Close home when the fire started in a back bedroom.
Both were rescued before Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service arrived. It was alerted at 12.55pm on Sunday and three engines from Gloucester arrived seven minutes later. Police said the cause of the blaze is being treated as suspicious.
