Three vehicle collision on M5

A lane of the M5 was closed this morning following a three vehicle crash.

Police arrived at the scene and cordoned off the lane in the southbound carriageway near Junction 12 at around 9am.

Nobody was seriously injured in the incident and officers managed to reopen the lane within half an hour.

However there are now reports of delays between Junctions 11A and 12 (Brockworth and Gloucester) as they are recovering a vehicle. One lane has been closed and delays are expected until 1pm.
