A climber who plunged 20 feet off a cliff face has been rescued during a dramatic operation in the Forest of Dean.
The man fell at Symonds Yat, near Coleford, and has suffered leg injuries after hitting a rock face.
Some 16 firefighters were involved in rescuing him after being alerted to the accident at 3.30pm.
Two fire engines with specialist rope rescue equipment were dispatched from Coleford fire station.
Paramedics from the South West Ambulance Service and the West Midlands Ambulance Service were also on the scene.
The operation came to an end at around 6.30pm.
