Adventurer Ben Fogle has spoken of his shock after learning his drink had been spiked at a country pub in the Cotswolds.
The 39-year-old has relived the night he suffered "psychotic episodes" on his return home from an evening out with his wife.
He said: "I was having dinner with some friends and came back having just had a couple of glasses of wine.
"But, an hour after going to bed, I woke up and had what was described as psychotic episodes.
"It must have terrified my wife and friends but to me the whole thing was like a blurry dream.
"My senses were incredibly heightened and I had a crazy urge to run or jump through a window and hurt myself."
