NAILSWORTH'S newest shop opened its doors for the very first time yesterday.
And English Heretic had a special visitor among its first customers.
Countryfile presenter Ellie Harrison, who grew up in Horsley, popped into the shop to take a look.
The Fountain Street is run by former Stroud Maternity Unit midwife Marion Maas.
She worked there for 15 years, many of them with Ellie's mum Debbie.
"It was great to see Ellie and the people who did come, despite the awful weather," said Marion, who was a midwife for almost 30 years before opting for a change of direction.
The shop sells new and vintage kitchenware, lighting, storage, newborn baby gifts and china.
