RAIN, sleet and freezing temperatures return this weekend, signalling an end to our fling with spring.
The Gatcombe Horse Trials, set to take place in Gatcombe Park in Minchinhampton, have already been called off today due to dire conditions and a decision on tomorrow's event will be made this morning.
The Met Office is predicting a wintry few days across Gloucester.
Sleet is expected throughout the day today with temperatures ranging from -1°C (30°F) to 2°C (36°F).
Tomorrow will be even colder with temperatures expected to fall by a degree or two. It is also predicted to be overcast all day.
Monday and Tuesday will be much the same with the Met Office predicting temperatures between 3°C (37°F) and -1°C (30°F) on both days.
No rain is forecast, but it will be overcast on Monday and Tuesday.
