Heavy rain could turn to sleet and snow in Gloucestershire over the next 24 hours.
Weather experts have predicted high-lying areas in the Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean will be hit by yet more wintry conditions.
During the day today it is likely to be dry early on before rain hits the county in the late afternoon.
The wet conditions are then expected to set in overnight and tomorrow, when some areas will be affected by snow.
The Met Office has predicted temperatures will hover just above freezing for the most part between now and the weekend.
