The county property market is heading in the right direction and creating jobs, according to a growing estate agency.
Two negotiators have been appointed at Naylor Powell as the company increases its business in key areas.
Leah Powell, 19, who happens to have the same name as one of the company co-founders, was educated at St Peter's High School in Gloucester, while Helena Birt, 30, returns to the company after starting a family.
The double appointment was made possible after a strong performance in both the Newent and Stonehouse offices.
Richard Powell, co-founder of Naylor Powell estate agents, said a greater confidence in the property market was a factor behind the growth.
He said: "There is no doubt the property market is getting much stronger, although it's certainly not back to where it was in 2006.
"Now, after a few years of correction, there is a great deal of consumer confidence out there.
"We want to ensure we stay ahead of our competitors and continue to offer the high levels of service that our clients expect.
"By increasing our staff levels with such excellent people we can continue to exceed these expectations and continue to grow."
Leah, who works in the Stonehouse branch, lives with her family in Longney.
Helena, who works in Newent, previously worked for Naylor Powell after studying marketing and PR at Southampton University. She has worked in the property and construction industry for a number of years and is returning after a career break.
Helena grew up in Huntley and went to Newent Community School.
