ONE of the Severn Vale's historic waterway buildings has been saved from dereliction.
The Canal & River Trust has taken the Grade II-listed North Warehouse at Sharpness Dock off the Heritage at Risk register for the first time in 10 years.
The charity which cares for 2,000 miles of waterways across England and Wales is now considering ways to bring building back into use.
The North Warehouse is the only survivor of four large warehouses used to store imported grain when Sharpness Docks opened in 1874.
