Young actors are preparing to Dazzle their audience next week.
Tetbury's Dolphins Dramatic Society Youth Group is to stage a musical called DAZZLE in the Dolphins Hall on March 15 and 16.
"We are really enthusiastic about this as it gives so many Tetbury children the opportunity to be on stage. They have put heart and soul into the rehearsals and we want to reward them with a full house for every performance", said musician Jenny Rees, one of the organisers..
The show tells the story of Poppy Pringle who inherits a seaside fun fair. In a show packed with drama and humour, Poppy leads the colourful band of fairground children to save it from the bad guys.
Murgatroyd Megarich and his side-kicks want to demolish the fun palace and turn it into an office block and shopping centre. But, with exciting thrills and spills on the way, Poppy leads her fairground friends to victory – to restore the Dazzle Bay Fun Palace to it's former glory.
The show is being performed at the Dolphins Hall, New Church Street, Tetbury. Tickets are available from Russells Dry Cleaning on Long Street, Tetbury (or on the door) and are priced at £7 for adults and £4 for concessions. There are two evening performances, on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th March, together with a Saturday matinee. Curtain up at 7:30pm (2:30pm for the matinee).
