SOLID fuel heating has been blamed on a rise in chimney fires in Gloucestershire.
It comes as the emergency services were called to tackle a blaze in Willersey on Friday night.
A crew from Chipping Camden was called to the property in Collin Lane just after 8.30pm.
Firefighters were at the scene for a total of 45 minutes to bring the fire under control and ensure there was no risk of further flames.
Officers are now urging residents to ensure they know how to keep themselves safe.
