Fire has destroyed a home in Cinderford, leaving two people in hospital.
Two fire crews were scrambled to Church Road at 4am today from Cinderford Station following report of the fire, with 12 firefighters.
A main line jet, a hosereel and four breathing apparatus were used to extinguish the fire which left 50 per cent of the first floor in the property severely damaged.
The fire had started in an upstairs bedroom and in an initial attempt to extinguish the fire the home owners had sustained injuries and were suffering smoke inhalation, one adult male and one adult female were conveyed to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
