SHOCK, horror! The Little Shop of Horrors is coming to Pittville.
The rehearsals are underway and screams can be heard throughout the school.
The musical revolves around a young man called Seymour, a nerdy flower seller, and the love of his life, the slightly ditzy Audrey.
These two characters fall head over heels in love with each other, but the only thing that stands in their way is Audrey II.
So who is Audrey II? A villain? A crook?
No – an alien, man-eating, talking, dancing, all-round baddie. Oh, and a plant.
Two unlucky victims of Audrey II are the horrid dentist, who is also Audrey's psycho boyfriend, Orin Scrivello, and the owner of the flower shop where Seymour works, Mrs Mushnick.
The musical is a collaborative effort with all the members of the performing arts department helping out, in particular Mrs Smith and Ms Chrishop.
