A petition against Gloucestershire's incinerator plans now has more than 760 signatures.
The online petition on the Government's website is asking national politicians to 'call in' the planning application for the site at Haresfield which would be transformed into a £500million incinerator by waste firm Urbaser Balfour Beatty.
It comes as campaigners prepare to screen Trashed, an environmental film, in Quedgeley on February 8 from 8pm at the Community Centre, in School Lane.
There will also be an additional screening at the University of Gloucestershire's Cheltenham Park campus on February 1 from 7.30pm.
Entry is free at both screenings.
