Churchdown snooker player Jack Lisowski is into the last 16 of the Betfair Snooker Shoot-Out in Blackpool.
The 21-year-old defeated Robbie Williams 48-41 this evening to make the next round tomorrow.
Lisowski had been heading for the exit as he was 41-1 down to 26-year-old Williams at one point. But he fought back, helped by a fortunate green that went in after going around the table, to win his place in the next round.
A random draw will decide who Lisowski plays next at the Blackpool Circus Arena as he bids to win the £32,000 top prize.
Gloucester potter Rob Milkins is due to play Andrew Higginson later this evening.
The shoot-out format is limited to one frame and can last no longer than ten minutes with restrictions on how long each player can take over their shot.
