ABBEY vicar Canon Paul Williams thinks the Echo's decision to launch a new Tewkesbury edition is just divine.
Commenting on the forthcoming extra coverage of the town and surrounding villages, he said: "There's a niche in the market for this. It's really good that the community will have a medium through which people can communicate and a place like Tewkesbury needs a focus. It will also enable it to grow."
The new edition will be published each Wednesday from January 30.
It will include regular columnists and readers' submitted pictures.
