GLOUCESTERSHIRE Police are trying to find relatives of a 66-year-old man who died in Uckington at the beginning of the year. David Richard Brown's body was found in a static caravan or outbuilding he was living in off the Tewkesbury Road in Uckington.
His death, believed to be health related, was reported to police on January 5.
Police are eager to contact his family, so they can inform them of his death.
David was born in 1947 in Troon, Ayrshire to Derek and Mary Brown.
Officers have established that his parents later lived in Colne Avenue in West Drayton, Middlesex for many years, but both passed away several years ago. Police have been unable to find any other next of kin.
Officers are also trying to piece together his last movements and find Mr Brown's relatives.
He was last seen at his home on the Tewkesbury Road in Cheltenham on 22-23 December but regularly walked along the Tewkesbury Road to visit the BP garage and the post office.
David is described as white and around 5ft 8" tall. He had grey/brown hair, beard and moustache. He was often unkempt and walked with a limp.
Officers are appealing to anyone who has information about David's relatives, along with anyone who saw him between December 22 and Jan 5, to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101 or the Gloucestershire Coroner on 01452 305661.
If you wish to stay anonymous you can also call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
