Cricketers bowled over by cash lifeline

Cricketers in Hardwicke will be bowled over by fresh support for their club after a wet summer saw it lose money.
Parish councillors have given £450 to Hardwicke Cricket Club to help it pay for maintaining the grounds.
Ian Soule, a cricket club committee member, told councillors how the club had lost income during the summer due to the weather.
The grant was unanimously supported.
