Mums and dads who have been supported by a parenting charity have been left outraged by a Twitter rant by television presenter Kirstie Allsopp.
The 41-year-old Location, Location, Location presenter blasted the National Childbirth Trust - the UK's biggest parenting charity - over its pro-natural birth stance.
She tweeted to her 272,000 followers that she thought it was 'a politicised, dogmatic and scary organisation' and dismissed its advice as 'b*******'.
One NCT teacher has even threatened her with legal action after being angered by the claims.
But Miss Allsopp, whose two sons were delivered by caesarean, suggested that the NCT failed to offer adequate information about the procedure in their antenatal classes
