Schoolgirls as young as 11 are being approached by a strange man.
Police are appealing for information on two suspicious incidents in Stroud.
The first incident happened around the rubbish tip on Cashes Green Road between 5pm and 8pm on Friday December 28.
Two girls aged 11 and 12 were walking along Cashes Green Road when a man approached them near The Old Crown pub. The girls then ran away and the man shouted to them.
The second incident happened at around 11am on Sunday December 30 at the same location.
The 11 year old girl was walking along Cashes Green Road when someone, believed to be the same man from the first incident approached her.
The girl then ran away - and as she did so the man shouted to her.
The man is described as white, in his 50s wearing a blue Nike jacket and grey jogging bottoms
Anyone with information that could help the investigation should call police on 101 quoting incident 440 of December 29.
