Gloucester Rugby chief says Thailand shooting not unusual

The shooting that led to the death of British holidaymaker Stephen Ashton in Thailand is not usual, Gloucester Rugby chairman Ryan Walkinshaw has said.
The rugby chief told his 4,858 Twitter followers: "I went to Koh Phangan for full moon – seven people died, one shot, four stabbed and two fell of cliffs.
"Strange how this particular case is so publicised."
Mr Ashton, 22, from London, died after reportedly being caught by a stray bullet during a fight between two groups at a bar on Koh Phangan.
