POLICE are appealing for more information after an assault in Cirencester last week.
A man was walking along Bathurst Road between 11.30pm and midnight last Friday when he was approached by a man from the opposite direction.
The victim was punched in the face, before the man ran off in the direction of Two Acres Field.
The offender is described by the police as in his 20s or 30s, and around 5ft 11in.
Police believes he was wearing a grey hat at the time of the incident.
Anyone with information that could help the investigation should call the police at 101 quoting incident 307 of December 22.
