CHRISTMAS day is normally filled with warmth, friends and lots of food.
But for the many who struggle to make ends meet and living on your own this Christmas, it can be a lonely one.
Volunteers from the Open Door project spent the festive season spreading the Christmas cheer at St Luke's hall for Cheltenham's less fortunate communities.
Cheltenham Open Door is a charity founded to help poor people facing hardship and distress.
The church hall was nearly full, with around 50 people sharing laughs on Christmas day. The service runs from Christmas Eve till today.
With potatoes, roast, warm cups of tea and good company, smiles broke out on many of their faces.
