More rain has been predicted over the next few days in Gloucester, increasing flooding concerns.

The Met Office has forecast rain today, tomorrow and on Friday, ranging from showers to heavy downpours and they have issued a warning over localised flooding.

Temperatures today will be around the 6 C mark, while tomorrow it could drop to 4 C and on Friday it may rise as high as 11 C.

There is some light at the end of the tunnel however, with the Met Office expecting the rain to subside towards the weekend and conditions on Saturday and Sunday are expected to be fairly sunny with temperatures ranging between 6 C and 11 C.
An Environment Agency flood warning is in place for Gloucester. On the Agency's website the warning said today: "At 9:45am today; the level at the Gloucester Gauge was 4.18 metres and steady. A peak level of between 4.15 and 4.20 metres is expected to occur tomorrow afternoon.
