A HORSE stuck in flood water had to be rescued by fire fighters at 10 am today.
Twelve fire fighters from Gloucester North and Gloucester South fire stations were called to the rear of St Oswalds Road, Gloucester today, after a horse was stuck in flood water up to its stomach.
The fire crews led the horse to dry land, before the RSPCA checked on the animal.
The rescue took an hour.
