Fire fighters were called to Mitcheldean today after a chimney fire broke out.
Six fire fighters and watch commander Waite from nearby Cinderford station were called to a property on Silver Street at 2.32pm.
The crew took 30 minutes to deal with the fire.
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service are called to chimney fires about 300 times a year.
