EMERGENCY services were called to a crash on Saturday which left a woman trapped.
The collision happened around 11am on Hayden Road in Cheltenham, at the junction of Blaisdon Way.
A Citron C3 and Kia Sedona were involved in the crash.
Fire fighters from Cheltenham East and Cheltenham West Community fire stations were called by the police to free the female driver of the purple Citroen C3.
The operation lasted about 30 minutes.
The female driver was taken to Cheltenham General Hospital by the Great Western Ambulance Service with lower back pains.
She was released from hospital shortly afterwards.
Police closed Hayden Road was closed for an hour while fire fighters worked to free the woman.
It was reopened around 12noon.
