CAPITA has been announced as the preferred bidder for the National Fire College in Moreton-in-Marsh.
The government has decided to sell the college to the private sector, and Cotswold MP Geoffrey Clifton-Brown welcomed the decision to choose Capita.
He said: "I am aware that it is Capita's intention to make the college not only a world class training centre for firefighters, but also to widen its role to encompass a range of other agencies for national emergency planning."
