Grace, a student from Gloucester: "It was quite corny and very predictable. It doesn't deviate too far away from the book. Parts of the film were also treated like a comedy. There were moments when we were laughing when we shouldn't have been."
Sophie, a student from Gloucester: "It was really quite a corny film. I was not impressed. I would only give the film six out of 10, and the book was much better."
Sophie, a student from Gloucester: "I don't really like the way that the film ended. It left you wanting more so you would go to the sequel. It was a but cynical."
Claire Turner, from Stroud: "I thought it was brilliant. The film was really well done and I thought the sex scenes were tasteful. I like the feel of the film and the two actors were brilliant as the characters."
Jen Turner, from Stroud: "It was a very good film and I highly recommend it. I wouldn't take my boyfriend to see it though. For me, the film scores a strong nine out of 10."
