Police are appealing for witnesses to a street robbery and assault that took place in Central Road, Gloucester.
It happened at about 8.40pm on Wednesday February 4.
The victim was walking home from work and, while crossing the road, was allegedly punched in the face and kicked in the ribs. His wallet and phone were allegedly taken from separate pockets.
The victim's family gave chase and a man was arrested, although a second man ran off.
The wallet was found in the road. The second suspect is described as white, 6ft tall, believed to be known as James and wearing a grey hoody.
Following the incident, Luke Robert Lambert, aged 28, of Central Road, Gloucester, was charged with robbery and bailed to attend Gloucester Crown Court on March 6.
