Campaigners against a mass-burn incinerator at Javelin Park near Gloucester have created a virtual tour of the building.
Shire Hall had agreed a contract with Ubaser Balfour Beatty to build and operate the waste incinerator near junction 12 of the M5 but eventually refused planning permission after a strong public backlash.
However, after months of delays, Secretary of State Eric Pickles approved its construction after it was appealed by the waste firm.
GlosVain believes the incinerator will cost the taxpayer £250million more than alternative means of waste disposal over the 25 year contract.
The group has created a video which they say "reveals the true enormity" of the incinerator.

Gloucestershire County Council says the facility will make an important change in the way Gloucestershire deals with the household waste of its 600,000 residents, diverting over 92 per cent of waste from landfill.
It also says it will make a significant impact on tackling climate change by removing 40,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide and save local people more than £150million over the next 25 years.
