TIM Harris has praised Gloucester City's supporters for the backing they have given his side in recent weeks.
The Tigers face Lowestoft Town in another must-win Conference North game at Whaddon Road on Saturday as they look to ease their relegation worries and Harris hopes there will be a big crowd to get behind his side.
Gloucester are now two points outside the drop zone but will be looking to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat at Hednesford Town in midweek against a Lowestoft side who are at the top of a clutch of clubs still in danger of being dragged into a dogfight despite climbing the table with consecutive wins against Hyde and Brackley Town.
Harris said: "It's a big game for us and hopefully we can get people behind us.
"The last few games the support has been fantastic, and an unbelievable number travelled to Hyde and even on Tuesday night we took a coach-load to Hednesford.
"It's one of those, like the Hyde game, that we have to start winning otherwise a difficult task will become even harder. Everyone is fighting for their lives."
Gloucester recorded one of their best wins of the season when they beat Lowestoft 3-0 away in November, but Harris believes the scoreline flattered his side and is expecting a tough game.
He has also warned his players about the threat they will face from a player he knows well from his spell at Newport County with Danny Crow scoring twice in Lowestoft's 3-2 win at Brackley last week following his move from the Welsh outfit earlier this month.
Harris said: "He's a very clever player and is a danger to us. He's a Football League player and one we need to watch because he's very talented."
Nathan Modest serves the last of his three-game suspension, while Matt Williams (groin) is not quite ready to return, but new signing Mo Diop is pressing for his first start.
Harris said: "Mo Diop came on at Hednesford to make his debut and was a threat so I was pleased with his contribution."
Following the arrivals of Sahr Kabba and Diop, Adam Mann has left Gloucester City to join Evesham United on a permanent deal.
The 23-year-old forward has been with the Tigers on and off since 2010, making 133 appearances in a City shirt but he scored just two goals in 15 starts for the club this season.
After spending a maximum period on loan at the Southern League Division One South and West side, former Shortwood United star Mann has agreed to stay at Evesham after scoring seven goals in 12 games at the Jubilee Stadium.
Harris said: "Adam has been finding it hard to play at this level in so much in so much that it was a big commitment."
