Arctic winds will make the whole of Britain feel below freezing with temperatures predicted to drop by 10C in places on Thursday.
Forecasters have warned of several inches of snow across the midlands and northern parts of England and Scotland tomorrow.
The south will not escape the plummeting temperatures either, with biting winds making most of the UK feel sub-zero.
The Weather Channel predicts that the tops of Scottish Highlands could experience temperatures as low as -20C this afternoon, and some southern areas could drop to -3C on Sunday.
