Gloucester will host Connacht in the quarter-finals of the European Challenge Cup after the Irish province grabbed the last qualifying spot.
The Galway-based outfit edged to a 30-20 victory over La Rochelle to finish second in Pool Two and secure their place as the third best runner-up.
And as the eighth-placed seed, they will face pace-setters Gloucester, who qualified as the top team after winning all six pool stage matches, taking 29 points from a possible 30.
