Gloucestershire College has launched a 'fresh' new campaign to encourage young people to break into the world of work.
The campaign - Get Fresh - is aimed at youngsters who are not in employment, education or training.
It features a wealth of information about courses at Gloucestershire College which could lead to an apprenticeship or other work opportunity.
To kick it off the College has produced a tongue-in-cheek video based on the hugely popular US televisio series The Fresh Prince of Belair.
Gloucester boy, Lee Jones (20) who is on the Level 3 Performing Arts course at GC, plays the part of the Fresh Prince of Gloucestershire rapping his way round trying different courses until he finds the right one. There are also familiar faces in the video such a local radio personality Joe Lemer of Total Star Radio who features as his school teacher.
The Get fresh programme features the following 'pathways':
Get fresh, get started – Apply to College and we will help you choose a course
Get fresh, get an apprenticeship – We will help you find an apprenticeship
Get fresh, get smart, set yourself apart – We will get you ready for the world of work and give you a free suit on completion of the programme
