A CYCLIST is fighting for his life after being hit by a car near Broadway yesterday afternoon.
The collision between the cyclist and a Volvo Estate happened just after 12.30pm on Snowshill Road, between Broadway and Snowshill.
A Gloucestershire police spokesman said the cyclist, from Evesham, had "sustained serious and life threatening injuries" and is being treated at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
The Volvo driver, from Chipping Campden, was not injured.
No arrests have been made and the families of both people are aware of the crash.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, and ask anyone with information to call 101, quoting incident 220 of December 8.
